There are multiple areas with light abrasion where the upper nap of the camelhair has thinned, allowing the underlying weave to show through (see last image in the main gallery for an example). These threadbare spots are a common characteristic of delicate woollen fabrics after regular use and are reflected in the asking price. Despite this, the coat remains a rare and unique exemplar of its kind and certainly deserves a second life.
