The 15milmil15 is Zegna's most prestigious cloth designation, named for the diameter of the wool fibre used to produce it: 15 microns, or 15 thousandths of a millimetre. At that fineness, drawn from the longest-staple Merino fleece selected from Australia, the cloth sits at the extreme end of what woven wool can achieve in terms of softness and drape. The surface is almost silk-like to the touch, the weight is light, and the cloth moves and recovers with a suppleness that coarser wool at any super number cannot replicate. It is Zegna's answer to the question of how fine a woven wool fabric can be made.

The pattern is a vintage stripe in charcoal and dark red, the burgundy line running through the charcoal ground at a spacing and weight that gives the jacket its character without imposing itself at a distance. The combination is one of the more refined available in a striped suiting cloth.

The Roma is Zegna's more generous classic cut, proportioned with greater ease through the chest and shoulders than the slimmer Milano models and closer to the traditional Italian suiting silhouette of an earlier era. The jacket closes on notch lapels with flap pockets at the hips and a ticket pocket at the right, and is fully lined throughout.
