Loro Piana Deep Navy Cashmere Rain System Spagna Jacket

Discover the Loro Piana Deep Navy Cashmere Rain System Spagna Jacket. The Spagna has been in continuous production since 1998, which for a single jacket design is a meaningful fact. It was built around the silhouette of a Spanish military officer's jacket: a standing collar, a clean straight line through the body, and a formality of shape that sits above most casual outerwear without requiring tailored dress beneath it. That combination of military precision and civilian ease is what has kept it in the range for nearly three decades.

The cloth is cashmere finished with Loro Piana's Storm System treatment, a PTFE membrane bonded to the fabric that makes it water and wind resistant while preserving the natural softness and breathability of the cashmere. The result is a piece that behaves as weatherproof outerwear in light rain and wind without feeling like it. The hand remains entirely cashmere.

Inside, the jacket is half lined, which keeps it light and unrestrictive. Two interior pockets close with zip on left and right, sitting flat against the lining.

Deep navy on the Spagna silhouette is the correct colour for the design. The standing collar and straight cut carry their own visual weight, and the navy keeps everything composed without drawing attention away from the shape.

A jacket that has remained in production since 1998 without significant revision has earned that consistency.
