The chest is soft, the jacket sitting against the body through the natural drape of the cloth rather than through internal structure, the whole garment lighter in the hand and on the body than its appearance suggests. Two and a half button closure and notch lapels keep the front in proportion with the jacket's relaxed character, patch pockets at the hips in keeping with the same spirit. The jacket is left entirely unlined, the silk, linen and wool cloth sitting directly against whatever is worn beneath it, breathable and unimpeded.
