Kiton Orange & Brown Pure Cashmere Checkered Jacket

Discover the Kiton Orange & Brown Pure Cashmere Checkered Jacket. The cashmere here has the handle of a fine knit rather than a structured woven cloth, soft and plush against the hand in a way that places it closer to luxury knitwear than to conventional jacket fabric. Kiton sources and processes its cashmere to a standard that produces this quality consistently, and it is most apparent in pieces like this where the cloth is the entire point of the jacket.

The pattern is a multi-line windowpane check built from multiple brown tones, with lines of varying weight crossing the ground to create a layered, tonal grid. Orange runs through the check as the accent, introducing warmth and contrast against the brown base without disrupting the overall autumn register of the piece. The combination reads as rich and seasonal, the kind of cloth that works hardest in October and November when the colours of the pattern align with the surroundings.

The jacket closes at 2.5 buttons with flap pockets at the hips. In a cloth this soft and with a pattern this warm in tone, the construction keeps the silhouette composed without imposing formality on a piece that is built around ease and colour.

Cashmere jackets in this weight and handle from Kiton at this condition on the secondary market are not easy to find, and in a colourway this specific, less so.
