how it works
What We Accept
Sartorialista focuses on a tightly curated selection of luxury sartorial menswear.
Items
We accept:
- Suits
- Jackets
- Coats
- Trousers
- Knitwear
- Shoes
Brands
Our core selection consists of brands featured on the webshop - reflecting a consistent standard in craftsmanship, materials, and design.
We do, however, consider select niche makers, provided they meet the same level of quality and align naturally with the Sartorialista aesthetic.
Condition
All items should be in good to excellent condition, with a clear emphasis on fabric quality, construction, and overall refinement.
The Commission Breakdown
For items sold for less than €300 you will earn 50% of the sale price, for items €300 - €2499 you will earn 60%, and for items €2500+ you will earn 70%. A 2.9% processing fee is applied to all commissions.
The commission covers various services, including advertising, providing shipping labels, ensuring hassle-free customer service, and granting access to a broad audience of sartorial enthusiasts worldwide.
The Process
Provide detailed information about the category, tailor, sizing, features, high-quality images, and your desired selling price.
Our expert team will meticulously analyse each listing to determine the item's value, condition, and its alignment with our collection criteria. This process ensures that our platform features a curated selection of exclusively luxury garments that are in pristine condition.
After your item is accepted, it must be shipped to our office in Amsterdam. Upon reception, it will be promptly photographed and listed on our platform. Our advertising efforts target enthusiastic buyers who can give your preloved sartorial pieces a second life.
Upon successful sale, we will ship the item carefully to the buyer with a tracked shipping label.
You will receive up to 70% of the final sale price. In the event of no reported issues by the customer within 14 days after receiving the item, the payment will be issued promptly.
Please note that creating invoices is not standard practice; they are only provided upon prior request.
The Boutique
All items are safely stored in a clean, camera-protected boutique in Amsterdam. Fellow enthusiasts can visit by appointment - or simply walk in on Saturdays - to try pieces on in person. This increases the chances of selling and lowers the return rate.
Consignment Return Policy
If you decide not to sell your item(s) anymore, or if items need to be returned to you, a €45 fee per item will be applied to cover the costs of photographing and processing. Additionally, the seller is responsible for the return shipping costs.
Support
By following these procedures, we aim to create a professional and seamless selling experience for all our valued sellers while maintaining the highest standards of quality for our exclusive collection. Should you have any questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our dedicated support team.
