Sartorial Fieldtrip in Napoli 🇮🇹🪡 (1/2): Exploring Sartoria Ciardi with The Sartorial Club

During the visit with The Sartorial Club, we had the pleasure of exploring Sartoria Ciardi in Naples. This is one of the few places where you can still feel the charm of old-fashioned tailoring. Founded by Renato Ciardi, who learned the craft at a young age, Sartoria Ciardi has a rich history. Renato's journey included working in Rome, serving famous clients, and setting up a workshop in Naples that became a gathering place for enthusiasts of elegance.

Renato’s sons, Enzo and Roberto, now carry on his legacy, maintaining his passion for quality and careful attention to detail. Every garment made here is bespoke, fitting like a second skin, perfectly following the body's shape and making each piece truly unique.

Enzo mentioned, "What I personally love is that you don't really feel like you're wearing a jacket. It's incredibly comfortable, especially in the high temperatures of Naples."

Working with luxury (preloved) sartorial clothing has been a passion of mine for a long time, but this field trip gave me an extra dimension of appreciation for the handwork involved. Seeing the craftsmanship firsthand, right here at the source, was an inspiring experience!
