100 Hands was founded in 2014 by Akshat Jain and Varvara Maslova, whose family has over 160 years of experience in textile production in India. Their mission is to craft the world’s finest shirts by preserving traditional handwork. Every shirt passes through about 100 artisans’ hands, taking up to 35 hours to complete. Craftsmanship includes hand-cut patterns, hand-rolled seams, hand-attached collars, and hand-stitched buttonholes - each taking 30–45 minutes. Their atelier in Amritsar, India, is family-owned and employs skilled artisans under ethical conditions. 100 Hands is globally respected for merging heritage techniques with modern luxury.
