The cloth is Loro Piana's Summertime, a three-fibre construction in wool, silk and linen that exists specifically for warm-weather tailoring: the wool providing structure and recovery, the linen delivering breathability and a natural dry texture that prevents the cloth from feeling dressed in heat, and the silk lifting the surface with a quiet luminosity that gives the brown a depth and warmth that a purely woollen or linen ground would not carry.
