Brioni Grey Super 150's Micro-Herringbone Suit

Discover the Brioni Grey Super 150's Micro-Herringbone Suit. Brioni has been making suits on Via Barberini in Rome since 1945, and the house's approach has remained consistent: Super 150's and finer wools, generous internal construction, and a silhouette that sits between the structured Milanese cut and the softer Neapolitan tradition. This suit is built from a Super 150's micro-herringbone that reads as solid grey from a distance, with the weave only becoming visible on closer inspection.

The jacket closes with two buttons and sits on notch lapels at a classic proportion. Flap pockets fall at the hips. Inside, the full Brioni lining carries the house monogram, a detail present across the range that speaks to the level of internal finish. The construction throughout follows the Roman house style: firm through the shoulder, with enough suppression at the waist to define the silhouette without exaggerating it.

The trousers are cut straight and finished with a single pleat, belt loops, and a turn-up at the hem. It is a configuration that has worked for Roman tailoring for decades and continues to work here. The single pleat gives enough room across the thigh without adding volume, and the turn-up anchors the leg line at the break.

Super 150's in a micro-herringbone is a reliable combination for a suit that needs to travel well and hold its shape across a long day.
