The fibre measures 12 microns in diameter, finer than the finest cashmere, and what that produces against the skin is something that has to be worn to be believed. Cesare Attolini acquired Fioroni in 2015, bringing the Umbrian knitwear house founded in 1978 in Castiglione del Lago into the same family that has defined Neapolitan tailoring for generations. To care for this knitwear, we recommend hand-washing it inside out. Please avoid using bleach or tumble drying. If needed, iron it gently at a low temperature while turned inside out with a clean cotton cloth inbetween.

Very subtle pilling is visible, consistent with a preloved vicuña knitwear. Overall, the piece remains in very good condition, especially considering the delicate nature of the fibre and the exceptional rarity of the garment.
