Loro Piana Navy Jersey Novalis Cashmere Overshirt Jacket

Discover the Loro Piana Navy Novalis Cashmere Overshirt Jacket. Jersey Novalis is a proprietary Loro Piana development: a double-faced cashmere jersey that combines fine cashmere with polyamide, giving the cloth the softness and insulation of cashmere with enough structure and stretch to hold its shape in motion. It is a fabric built specifically for pieces that sit between tailoring and knitwear, and this overshirt jacket is precisely that.

The cut follows a relaxed shirt-jacket silhouette with a soft shirt-style collar that rolls naturally and holds its shape through wear. Flap chest pockets sit at the front, and the closure runs with exposed horn buttons. Suede reinforcements appear at the stress points, a detail that speaks to the level of finish Loro Piana applies even to its less formal pieces.

The navy is clean and unbroken, with no pattern or surface texture to interrupt the cloth. In a double-faced cashmere jersey, that kind of plainness is not a compromise. The material carries the interest on its own.

Worn over a fine-gauge knit or as a standalone layer in transitional weather, it covers a range of uses that most single pieces cannot.
