The "TJ" in MooRER's naming system denotes the fabric: their proprietary W-PRAGA cloth, a polyester softshell that achieves what most performance fabrics do not, in that it carries none of their visual language. It looks like a cloth chosen for its appearance and happens to turn away rain, which is a considerably more useful trick than the reverse. The warm grey sits with the quiet presence of a well-considered suiting fabric, reading easily over tailoring and knitwear without asserting itself. The carcoat length drops below the hip with the unhurried authority of a silhouette that has never needed to announce itself. The front closes behind a hidden placket, horn buttons concealed so completely that the elevation runs unbroken from the carcoat collar to the hem, and those same horn buttons appear at the cuffs, functioning rather than decorating. Side pockets at the hip, half-lined with document pockets inside, a back vent for ease of movement. Made in Italy.
